We completed section 11.2 today. homework is pg. 593 #4-32 multiples of 4 We tested Chapter 10 today on Surface area and Volume. The homework is to read and take notes on Chapter 11, section 1
We completed 10.8 today. That is the last section of chapter 10! Your projects are due next class. We will review next class and have a test the following class.
We completed sections 10.5 - 10.7 today on volume of prisms, cylinders, pyramids, and cones, and total surface area and volume of spheres. We will continue with similar solids next class, review and then test chapter 10 at the beginning of next week. We will conclude our Geometry studies with the Chapter on Circles. We took a quiz on Lateral and Total Surface Area of prisms, pyramids, cylinders and cones today. The homework is to continue to work on your projects due next week. We will start Volume of the above mentioned solids next class. (Bring your book!)
We completed the homework problems from last night and started 10.4. The homework tonight is to read and take notes on section 10.4 (bring your book next class). We will work through examples and problems next class. there will be a Quiz on 10.1 - 10.4 next week.
We started 10.3 today on Surface Area. The notes are attached. The homework is worksheet (both sides) We started Chapter 10 today on solids. We completed 10.1 & 10.2 Notes are attached. The homework is pg. 514 # 4-18 even and pg. 523 # 4-6 and 17-19 We finished our Trigonometry chapter... I reviewed SOHCAHTOA one last time and assigned word problems that will be collected and graded next class. We also started Chapter 10 on Solids. The project was given out that will be due before the test on this chapter. (probably in about 2 weeks)
