We continued working with standard and slope intercept form of the equation. Homework is exit slip 4.5.
We completed 9.1 - 9.3 today, reviewing 9.1 & 9.2, Adding 9.3. The homework is 20 minutes of the Angles of Depression and Elevation worksheet. I will collect it and grade 3. Circle the 3 problems you want me to grade.
We finished our discussion on Quadrilaterals today including kites and trapezoids. The homework is to fill in the chart on page 25 of the notes packet. It is directly from page 429 in your book. we will review Tuesday and have the Chapter 6 test on Thursday. We worked on calculating intercepts of equations in standard form and graphing the equations. Homework is Activity 4.5.3 pages 6 and 7
We started chapter 9 today. I gave my version of 9.1 and 9.2 on sine, cosine and tangent. The homework is worksheet 9.1 odds. We answered all questions on rectangles, rhombuses and squares today. we will complete trapezoids and kites on Friday and start the review. a chapter 6 test will be next week. (most likely Thursday)
We finished our discussion on special right triangles. I gave a take home quiz to be completed for next class. I ask that you use your notes, your handouts, your brains, but not each other in completing this quiz. thanks!
We reviewed Rectangles, Rhombi and Squares today, using the packet that you already had. We will finish quadrilaterals on Wednesday and prepare for our upcoming test. (many students absent today, did not do anything new)
We will discover the relationships of special right triangles today. This will prepare us for Chapter 9 (which is next) on Trigonometry. This lesson will take approximately 2 days, with a quiz at the end and an activity. |
