We continued with distributive property. we completed worksheets 2.4.5a and 2.4.6. I assigned 2.4.7 "multistep equations challenge" for homework.

We worked on Analytic Proofs today. I handed out a worksheet with 12 proofs... we worked in groups all class and are to try to complete 2 more for HW. or 20 minutes... whichever comes first. We took the Chapter 2 test today. The homework is to read and take notes on Chapter 3 Section 1. pg. 146 & 146. There will be an open notes "unannounced pop quiz" on Friday on the vocabulary from this section.
We practiced distributive property and combining like terms today. I gave a 3 question assessment (ES 2.4.2) and several worksheets in class. (es 2.4.2, 2.4.3, 2.4.5a) and assigned 2.4.6a odds for homework.
We completed section 6.3 today. the homework was to complete the worksheet packet, you only have to do one of the proofs. We reviewed simple and compound interest today. We also finished the "Rule of 72". I handed out the Deals on Wheels project that is due Dec. 16. We will spend the next class in the computer room working on that project. Homework was to create a "realistic budget" typical high school senior, using as many real numbers as you can.
We spent the day reviewing Pg. 130 in book. We have a test next class on Chapter 2.

We finished Chapter 3 today with 3.6. we do not do 3.7. We reviewed all examples from the book on 3.6. From here we go to Chapter 6, then 12 before Chapter 4. we will be through all of 6 and much of 12 before midterm exams. I then handed out and completed the notes for 6.1 & 6.2. Homework was practice worksheets on 6.1 & 6.2 Odd. After many questions and concerns we will spend Monday reviewing as well. The test is moved to Wednesday. the Homework for tonight is to complete pg. 130  133 in the book 147 odd. Come in with Questions!
